Have you ever been bullied? Left out...? Laughed at?
Me too.

I wrote the lyrics based on my personal experience with childhood bullying. 
"can i play?" was a phrase I learned early on (before I could really speak English). I guess it had a bit to do with playground survival? 
But learning the phrase didn't guarantee friends.

This is my story.

I hope you feel the strength of the little girl getting through each day through the bass and the powerful track. 
I hope you feel the vulnerability and sadness of the little girl from the words chosen for this song.
